Construction notice

Road reconstruction is taking place along two roadways within the Town of Milton. Full road closures will be undertaken and alternative detour routes will be in place. Local residents will receive notices if a closure directly impacts them.

Locations:

  • 3 Side Road from Milton Heights Crescent to end
  • Milton Heights Crescent

Road closures and anticipated timelines:

Stage 1 - 3 Side Road - six weeks from Aug. 19, 2024

  • Full closure at 3 Side Road from Milton Heights Crescent to end
  • Detour route traffic will be detoured via Tremaine Road and Steeles Avenue West

Stage 2 - Milton Heights Cresent - seven weeks from 3 Side Road completion

  • Full closure from 3 Side Road to curve, access is maintained to Tremaine Road for local traffic

During construction, the public is encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while traveling in and around construction areas.
