Dog park rules

All dogs must be:

  • Leashed when entering and leaving the fenced off-leash area
  • Accompanied by a responsible person who is aware of their whereabouts at all times

When in the park, make sure to:

  • Handle dogs responsibly
  • Ensure other dogs don’t feel threatened or defensive
  • Leave glass containers at home

If your dog displays persistent aggressive behaviour, it will need to be leashed and removed from the park immediately as per the Animal Control By-law. 

Children
Please supervise children under your care closely. Dogs who are not used to children may become unpredictable. Children can use the separate play area.

Pit bulls
Pits bulls must be leashed, muzzled and handled by a person who has the strength and ability to keep control of the dog at all times. Please contact us for more information. 

Muzzle orders
You muzzle and leash any dogs in the park who have a muzzle order.
