Notice: Kelso Bridge Construction

Construction notice

Kelso Road bridge was identified for major rehabilitation, as part of our bi-annual bridge needs study. The rehabilitation will extend the service life of this structure.

Enhancements include:

• Removal and replacement of the existing concrete bridge deck
• Removal and replacement of the existing asphalt surface and curb at the bridge
• Removal and replacement of existing parapet wall
• Removal and replacement of guiderail

Location: Kelso Road Bridge, located approximately 400m west of Tremaine Road

Schedule: Early to Mid June - Late Fall 2024

Construction timelines are dependent on many factors, including weather.

Lane Closures: Lane closure/restrictions on the Kelso Road Bridge will be required to facilitate work for the duration of the project. Local and emergency traffic permitted.
