News release

The Town of Milton is introducing the Milton Community Connections Grant previously known as the Milton Small Grant Program aimed at supporting small scale, community-led projects.

The Milton Community Connections Grant is designed to provide support to residents, resident groups, and non-profit organizations that are working to improve the quality of life in Milton through projects, events and programs. This includes projects related to recreation, arts and culture, health and wellness, and more.

This year, successful applicants can receive a grant of up to $2,500. This grant is given out to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all funds out of the total $75,000 are distributed, the application window will close for the year.

The program is funded through the Milton Community Fund, which receives funding from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG)’s Mohawk location for the benefit of the community. Organizations unable to accept funding from the OLG, can contact Town staff for more details, as there are alternate funding sources available.

To learn more about the program, including eligibility criteria and how to apply, visit the Town of Milton’s website.
