In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, this is to advise that a complete application has been received and a statutory public meeting has been scheduled by the Town of Milton’s Development Services Department for a proposed zoning by-law amendment. The Muslim Association of Milton has applied for a temporary use zoning by-law amendment for the lands located at 1801 Thompson Road South.

The subject property is located at 1801 Thompson Road South, on the east side of Thompson Road, south of Britannia Road.
Applicant's proposal
A Temporary Use Zoning By-law Amendment application and materials have been submitted for the above-noted property to permit a place of worship use. The applicant is proposing to convert the existing single detached dwelling to a place of worship. No additional buildings are proposed and the building will continue to be serviced with private services (septic and well). The proposal includes 58 parking spaces and two driveway accesses to Thompson Road South.

This meeting will be held as a hybrid meeting with Members of Council having the opportunity to participate in-person at Town Hall or electronically. At this time, members of the public are encouraged to continue to view the meeting by watching the live stream.
