Construction notice

In order to prepare for the reconstruction of Ontario Street in the spring/summer of 2025, the following investigation works are planned:

  • Topographic Survey

  •  CCTV investigation of the existing storm sewers 

  • Geotechnical Investigation

Survey crews who will be completing this work and may need to enter onto nearby property to locate surface features, to obtain ground elevations, and legal survey information. The survey will not require entry into any building. The information collected will help to ensure any future improvements will have a minimum impact on your property. Please do not disturb or remove any stakes or painting that may be installed as part of this work – these will be removed by the Town’s consultant upon completion of the work. Temporary lane closures may be required in order to complete the survey, CCTV and geotechnical work. 

Location: Ontario Street from Main Street to Derry Road

During construction, the public is encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while traveling in and around construction areas.
