In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, this is to advise that Milton Meadows Properties Limited has applied for a Zoning By-Law Amendment. You are receiving this notice because you are either an owner of a property and/or a property manager for a Condominium Corporation for lands situated within 200 metres of the subject properties and are being invited to participate in the review process and we welcome any comments you may have.

Location

The subject properties are situated in the northwest area of the Milton Heights Neighbourhood. The subject properties are located in Ward 1 and have a total area of approximately 2.21 hectares. The properties are legally described as CON 1 PT LOT 4 (various parts) in the Town of Milton and municipally identified as 17, 29, 31 and 33 Milton Heights Crescent and 133, 135, 137 and 149 Tremaine Road. The sites are within the Sherwood Survey Secondary Plan and are designated as Residential Area. The subject lands are currently zoned as Future Development in the Town’s Zoning By-law.

Applicant's proposal

The applicant has applied to amend the Town’s Urban Zoning By-law to facilitate the development of a 30-lot Plan of Subdivision.

Planning Act requirements

The Planning Act requires that all complete applications be processed. The applications are now being circulated to Town Departments and Agencies for technical review. No decision has been made regarding this application.

During this review the Applicant will be hosting a public information session to provide details of their proposed development. A separate notice will be sent out confirming the date, time and location.

Notice of the Statutory Public Meeting will be given in accordance with the Planning Act requirements. The Statutory Public Meeting is where members of the public will be invited to obtain information, make a verbal presentation and/or written submission, to identify issues of concern and/or express views in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed application at the Statutory Public Meeting only. A separate notice will be sent out confirming the date, time and location.

If you have received this notice as an owner of a property and the property contains seven or more residential units, the Town of Milton requires that you post this notice in a location that is visible to all the residents.
