News release

Applications for the Town of Milton’s Milton Community Connections Grant are now open. This grant offers financial support to residents, resident groups, and non-profit organizations working on projects and events that are free for the public to attend. The grant focuses on initiatives that enhance the quality of life in Milton, particularly in the areas of recreation, arts, and culture.

This year, successful applicants can receive grants of up to $2,500. Funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and once the total $75,000 has been allocated, the application window will close for the year.

The program is funded through the Milton Community Fund, which receives funding from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG)’s Mohawk location for the benefit of the community. Organizations unable to accept funding from the OLG, can contact Town staff for more details, as there are alternate funding sources available.

To learn more about the program, including eligibility criteria and how to apply, visit the Town of Milton’s website.
