Milton Town Council approved allocating grants from the Milton Community Fund totaling $433,168 to 44 local organizations that are helping to make Milton a place of possibility.

The Milton Community Fund supports a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations and programs that enhance local access to artistic, cultural and recreational programs.

Milton Council established the Milton Community Fund to distribute a portion of the funds received from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (Woodbine - Mohawk Park) to local organizations.

Since 2001, the Milton Community Fund has distributed more than $8.1 million into the community.
