In accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, this is to advise that a complete application has been received and a statutory public meeting and technical report has been scheduled by the Town of Milton’s Development Services Department for a proposed extension to an existing Temporary Use Zoning by-law amendment for the lands located at 295 Alliance Road, Unit#10.
Application details
The applicant, Trichome Hills Corporation has submitted an application requesting an extension to an existing Temporary Use Zoning By-law applicable to Unit #10 on the subject lands to allow the continuation of a site-specific Cannabis Production and Processing Facility within a multi-unit building for a temporary period of up to three years. There are no changes proposed to the existing use or property through this application.
Planning Act Requirements
The Planning Act requires that all complete applications be processed. The application is now being circulated to Town Departments and Agencies for technical review. No decision has been made regarding this application.

Legal notices required under the Planning Act
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of Milton Council to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Milton before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Milton before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
