Halton Court Services administers Provincial Offences Act court services within the Halton area through two locations: one in Burlington and one in Milton.
Halton Court Services has been responsible for court scheduling, administration, enforcement and prosecution of Provincial Offences Act charges since 2001 when these responsibilities were transferred from the Ministry of the Attorney General to the municipal partners of Burlington, Oakville, Halton Hills, and Milton.
Halton Court Services offers online payment options for fines issued for POA offenses.
Unpaid fines are forwarded to the Halton Court Services Collection Unit. Unpaid fines are subject to additional fees and could result in one or more of the following: license suspension, plate denial, credit reporting, garnisheed wages, personal property liens and civil enforcement. People with outstanding fines will receive an overdue notice with instructions on how to submit payment.
