Be Proactive

By keeping your pets' licence current, you increase their chances of being reunited with you if they were ever to become lost.  Animal Services Officers have the ability to check dog licences and return them home should they become lost. Be sure to keep your pets' licence affixed to his collar.

Micro-chipping your animal is another important step to take. Animal Services Officers and shelters can scan animals for ID microchips, and contact you quickly. Be sure to keep all your contact information up-to-date with your pets' microchip company.
